Suture Tying Forceps |
These forceps have suture tying platforms. A tying platform is a slightly elevated surface near the tip of the forceps to aid in suturing. The elevated surface holds the suture firmly to help make a knot. Unlike regular forceps that meet at their tips when they are closed, forceps with suture tying platforms close flat along a long surface from the tip. This feature allows for an easy, reliable and gentle grip, which may be useful in applications other than suture work, too. |
